S-378, Aerial Supervision (Pre-Course Work/Pre-Selection Assessment) 2009

This instructor-led course has pre-course work (est. 3 hrs.) and a pre-selection assessment (est. 1 hr.). Additional information about the course can be found in the Field Manager’s Course Guide (PMS 901-1)

Instructions: 
  1. Complete the S-378 Student Profile form and submit it to the instructor or course coordinator, as directed.
     
  2. Read/Review the Interagency Aerial Supervision Guide (PMS 505).
     
  3. Complete A-100, Basic Aviation Safety course.
     
  4. Complete A-109, Aviation Radio Use course.
     
  5. Login to the NFA Online website to register. 
     
  6. Search the NFA Course Catalog for the S-378 exam and add it to your To-Do List. 
     
  7. Complete the pre-selection assessment (pre-course test) using the IASG. You must score 70% or higher to receive a certificate of completion. 
     
  8. Print and submit the certificate to the instructor or course coordinator, as directed.
