FI-210, Wildland Fire Origin and Cause Determination (Pre-Course Work/Pre-Selection Assessment) 2016

This instructor-led course has pre-course work and pre-selection assessment (estimate 2 hours). Additional information about the course can be found in the Field Manager’s Course Guide (PMS 901-1)

  1. Complete the pre-course work/pre-selection assessment. When completing non-graded exercises, if you do not get the question right you will be redirected to the page that covers that concept. Re-read the material and press the next button to attempt the question again. If you do not get the question right after several attempts, you will be directed to the beginning of that chapter to review the material.  You must obtain a score of 70% or higher on the assessment to attend the course. You may retake this test as many times as necessary to pass. You must take the test in one sitting; if you exit the test before completion, you will have to retake the whole test. NOTE:  On the assessment start page you will see it reads "FI-210 Pre-Course Test (2005)" which is still the current assessment.
  2. It is recommended to print your assessment results upon completion and bring to class. Make sure you have a functioning printer so you can print the certificate. You will also need the name and email address of the course coordinator or lead instructor so the system can automatically send them your test results.
